Building the home for football opinion & debate.
The Brief
JAFA (Just A Fan’s Analysis) approached us to build an iOS proof of concept for their new innovative platform, that enables sports fans to share their passion with a like-minded community.
The Opportunity
They needed this app to be snappy, perform under load, deal with a lot of data and deployed multi-platform. And, as with all start-ups, they were pitching for investment, so it needed to be built rapidly.
What we did
Spork provided UI design and built the app in React Native, integrating API feeds, and providing the rest of the back-end using Google Firebase.
An administration area was built in React.js to manage news, user generated content and user accounts.
The app was accepted into to the AppStore in September 2017, and has since gained investment to develop the concept further.
